As a car buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing pre-owned cars and trucks for our dealership. Your role will involve working closely with our sales and marketing teams to ensure that we have the right inventory to meet our customers’ needs.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and purchase pre-owned vehicles that meet our quality standards and customer demand
- Evaluate trade-ins and appraise vehicles for purchase
- Negotiate prices with sellers to ensure that we are getting the best deal possible
- Work closely with our sales and marketing teams to ensure that we have the right inventory to meet customer demand
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market conditions to make informed buying decisions
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and sales
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in automotive purchasing or related field
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals
- Knowledge of the automotive industry and market trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
