The Buyer should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Supply Chain studies and/or at least 3 years of experience in Inventory Management, Production Planning, or Purchasing. Starting pay is negotiable based on experience.

Buyer :

The Buyer manages or performs strategic sourcing work by initiating and driving sourcing and cost reduction, developing and implementing the segment strategy in the area of responsibility, and for driving strategic purchasing activities within the commodity. Establishes supplier relationship management processes and continuous improvement goals/programs Request for Quotes (RFQs): Prepare and issue RFQs to suppliers for required materials, equipment, and services.

Bid Evaluation:

Evaluate supplier quotations and bids, considering factors such as price, quality, delivery time, and supplier reputation. Negotiates contracts and coordinates supplier integration plans with internal clients Monitors market dynamics that impact materials/services availability and/or pricing Partners with internal clients to identify sourcing needs, develop buyer/market profiles, identify marketplace trends, and define acceptable service levels. Managing projects/processes, working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex. Buyer :

Minimum of 2-5 years of purchasing experience Bachelor’s degree in either Supply Chain, Business or other related industry OR Inventory Management, Production Planning, or Purchasing. Ability to work in a team-driven environment Superior negotiation skills Strong math, problem-solving, and analytical skills is required. Ability to develop long-term relationships with vendors and clients Superior communication skills both written and verbally #MD1
