WHAT YOU WILL DO JOB SUMMARY

Responsible to deliver innovative, timely and efficient procurement solutions that create value and streamline processes to support the companies spend and will ensure maximum value delivered for every dollar spent while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory, stakeholder and supplier requirements.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

(This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary by the Company) Supports the global procurement global and regional perimeter leveraging systems and resources to achieve goals and objectives locally, regionally. Delivers on objectives utilizing procurement processes including demand planning, source to contract processes, supplier relationship management and contract management to manage risk and cost expectations. Delivers commercial agreements which optimize value for money and managed risk areas. Follows procurement policies and procedures to minimize risk and meet compliance objectives. Ensures early procurement engagement in significant spend areas to maximize procurement’s impact. Develops deep product and supplier knowledge to drive continuous improvement within the spend managed. Utilization of risk management analysis and mitigation activities for key suppliers / services managed. Develops peer relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders ensuring that commercial delivery and internal service are equally balanced. Undertake adequate analysis and planning to enable effective supplier negotiations which deliver a world class cost base. Creates, manage, and executes procurement strategies to achieve business targets. Support stakeholders in the development of specifications for goods and services to be delivered. Invites, assesses, and awards/recommends supplier tenders, bids, quotations, and proposals. Ensures documentation standards are adhered to for all suppliers. Manages relationships and performance of ongoing suppliers. Administers contract performance evaluation. Reconciles or resolves value discrepancies. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field of study. Must be 21 years of age or older. 5+ years related experience to include, but is not limited to: Procurement focused in indirect categories Negotiating high value services and materials Planning, organizing, and managing multiple projects simultaneously Creating, leading, and implementing projects

Knowledge of:

Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams. Procurement platforms. Understanding of end-to-end procurement processes covering demand management, source to contract, supplier relationship management and contract managements. Interpreting legal contracts.

Receive and communicate information orally and in writing. Prioritize assignments, workload, and manage time accordingly. Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 20%.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:

Master’s degree in a related field of study

Experience:

Ability to read/understand/interpret Engineering & Mechanical blueprints or drawings Military supply chain experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMAND

Requires light physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves light objects (under 10 lbs.). Walks, sits, or stands for prolonged periods.
