Job Description
Ensures completeness and accuracy of requisitions before orders are placed with the vendor. Expedites emergency orders and arranges for appropriate shipment. Maintains daily entry of the purchase order system, computer file maintenance and record keeping function necessary for the acquisition process. Minimum Education High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum Work Experience One to two years of experience in hospital purchasing preferred. Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
