ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work in purchasing department for sourcing and procurement of critical materials for manufacture of temperature sensors and related components. Coordinate dates of incoming material with manufacturing team to enable up-to-date decision making. Identify material needed for manufacturing using sales and manufacturing planning tools Place orders and maintain contact / relationships with vendors and supply base Follow-up on open orders and maintain updated dates in manufacturing system for incoming material Work with engineering teams to identify alternate materials and vendors when necessary Monitor order scheduling and coordinate with departments for updates each day Support shipping / receiving / inventory as needed
