Quint is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our growing Rooms Division Team. This role is responsible for sourcing hotels and contract execution for our event programs. You are passionate about understanding what the client/event needs for hotels, negotiating strategically, and contract execution skills. You understand relationships and working with a team to support events seamlessly and simultaneously from beginning to end. You are detail oriented and forward thinking. Responsibilities Hotel Procurement
Research destinations to identify hotel options for maximum value and effectiveness
Develop and distribute hotel RFP’s as needed for assigned event portfolio
Review proposals and prepare hotel pricing report for internal event stakeholders Negotiate hotel contracts with a focus on getting the best rate and terms, maximizing savings. and minimizing liabilities
Work with hotel partners to prepare and present approved contracts for processing Relationship Building
Work closely with the Director and client to understand client expectations, review history and develop inventory & pricing strategies
Establish position as subject matter expert with the team to operate seamlessly and efficiently within the program development process
Provide direction and reporting to the Inventory/Event Management team to enable them to execute the events successfully Build transparent and trusting relationships with our hotel partners to maximize value through the contract and execution process
Support sales efforts as needed to help win new clients and drive net new business Revenue Management
Understand budget and financial objectives of each program and provide direction on best channels available to increase revenue and margin through hotel sales
Collaborate with the Marketing Team to create hotel profiles that enhance our offerings and promote sales
In collaboration with Inventory Management, actively monitor online sales channels to ensure hotel selling rates are properly aligned in the event markets General Duties
Find and create efficiencies in our hotel procurement process.
Data management to ensure contract details are communicated effectively, CRM programs updated, accounting systems are notified, and files are updated
Coordinate and manage conversion and adoption of Quint best practices. Attend weekly team, production, and operations meetings. Additional tasks as assigned for support and planning of all managed events.
Daily, weekly, and monthly inventory management duties are required.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in related field; preferable emphasis in sports management, hospitality, and event planning Two or more years of hotel procurement and contract execution or equivalent combination of education and experience
Advanced destination and hotel property knowledge with desire and willingness to continually expand knowledge in our markets Skills/Abilities
Ability to effectively present information to Clients, Hotels, and Company staff
Polished and articulate with strong interpersonal skills
Proficient in Google applications, MS Word, Excel, and event management programs and CRM such as ARN, ZOHO, and SalesForce
Ability to make timely and sound decisions affecting client, attendee, or hotel experience.
Possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to problem solve, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced unpredictable event environment with multiple clients/events at one time.
Adhere to all Quint policies including, but not limited to event management/process procedures.
Strong working knowledge of policies, procedures and practices used in hotels. Physical Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
