Your Key Responsibilities Coordination and steeringof Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Personal Protective Equipment, &Standard / Catalog Equipment purchases for US & Canada, includingnegotiating the associated purchasing costs. Development andimplementation of a regional purchasing strategy in alignment withthe specialist areas and contact partners. Identification andinitiation of savings projects and workshops between suppliersand/or plant stakeholders to reduce total costs (i.e. specificationadaptions, make-or-buy, cost value analyses). Leading pricing,conditions, and contract negotiations as well as RFQs for relevantsuppliers. Improve company cash-flow through extension of paymentterms with suppliers. Establish & manage preferred suppliers, whileleveraging company’s total volume. Risk management and taskforce/troubleshooting with regards to quality/delivery issues forall relevant suppliers assigned. Your Qualifications Bachelor’sDegree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Purchasing,Engineering or related field 3 to 5 years of relevant experienceExperience in purchasing and negotiations Able to manage complexprojects while meeting due dates & targets Demonstrated leadershipskills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functionalteams to achieve results. Experience of working in a high-pacedautomotive manufacturing environment Analytical mindset with theability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, anddevelop data-driven solutions.
