As a Sr Procurement Project Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing procurement projects to support the organization’s strategic objectives. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end procurement process, from supplier selection to contract management, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. This role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
You will report directly to the Director, Productivity Transformation and work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule. For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite Monday through Friday.
In this role, you will impact the company by driving efficient procurement processes, optimizing costs, and ensuring a reliable supply chain.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage complex procurement projects from initiation to completion, including Planning, Execution, and Monitoring/Controlling, ensuring project goals are met within scope, budget, and timeline.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Partner with Digital Procurement to link Core functional processes with Tools; identify opportunities to drive process efficiency, reduce time to market, reduce cost and mitigate risk.
Work with engineering & IT to support creation of digital thread, with Procurement mandatory deliverables and critical data elements embedded into the process & systems.
Monitor and control procurement costs, seek cost-saving opportunities, and optimize resource allocation.
Foster and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, compliance standards, and internal policies
Leverage technology solutions to enhance procurement processes and reporting.
