SUMMARY:

Assist with receiving of incoming product. Insure product is stored in its proper location. Issues product to the various departments, maintain storeroom for cleanliness, and assist with the inputting info into the I.P. system (EATEC). Assist with inventories. EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and a minimum of 3 months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position involves driving a company vehicle and/or company insured vehicle. A valid driver’s license is required, along with successful completion of a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and annual MVRs, according to company guidelines. Follow safe, defensive driving practices at all times, obey all traffic laws, regulations, signals and markings, use a seat belt, and follow Company policies and procedures, including the Substance Abuse Policy. Never drive while under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medications that may impair your ability to operate a vehicle safely, report any accidents immediately and cooperate fully with insurance claims investigations.
Responsible for maintaining food supplies in the Storeroom; in a clean and organized manner.
Assist with period end food inventory.
Input information into the inventory/purchasing system (EATEC).
Maintain Quality control of food products.
Rotate all merchandise to maintain freshness.
Maintain walk in boxes in a clean an orderly manner.
Assist with period end food inventory.

Insure floors are swept and mopped on a daily basis or as often as needed.
Receive food product and put in storage boxes or shelves.
Good work ethic, moral integrity and able to get along with many personalities.
Must have knowledge of Food Storage
Must have excellent computer skills and ability to learn and retain information.
Must withstand cold temperatures
Must work varied shifts
Must have excellent communication skills
Must have the ability to multi-task
Must fill and update interdepartmental food requisitions.
Must process food invoices with SOP.
Must work with vendors and culinary team to prepare food orders.
Maintain par levels of food inventory. Review order guides and be able to prepare purchase orders with all major vendors.
Update requisitions in Eatec.
Must be able to assist in offsite deliveries of commissary product and basic purchases.
