Sr. Buyer Position Available In Cheshire, New Hampshire

Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Buyer for a Contract job with a client in Keene, NH . The ideal candidate must have strong experience with Oracle-based ERP systems to manage purchasing operations effectively.

Rate Range:

$40/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Sr.

Buyer job responsibilities include:

Manage Procurement Operations:

Utilize Oracle-based ERP systems to issue purchase orders, monitor open orders, and ensure timely delivery of goods to support uninterrupted production.

Supplier Performance Management:

Measure, monitor, and report on supplier performance, inventory levels, and key metrics; lead improvement initiatives and communicate performance gaps.

Strategic Supplier Relationship Management:

Lead regular meetings with strategic and problematic suppliers, define action plans, and drive efforts to enhance supplier performance and value.

Inventory Optimization:

Implement lean principles such as Kanban and Min/Max planning to right-size inventory, reduce lead times, and improve supplier responsiveness.

Contract Negotiation and Compliance:

Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers in coordination with the Senior Commodity Manager, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.

Continuous Improvement and Best Practices:

Identify and lead projects to enhance purchasing practices, maintain procurement system settings, and support global and plant-level initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of procurement or supply chain experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Proficiency in Oracle-based ERP systems for purchasing and inventory management. Pay Details:
