Job Summary Farm, a Flex company with over 50 years of experience in providing award-winning development services for medical, life sciences, and consumer healthcare sectors, is seeking a Buyer based in Hollis, New Hampshire. The Buyer role will coordinates activities involved with procuring direct materials, components and equipment. Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do: Procurement of non-standard materials on aQuire basis. Processing the requests received in the aQuire system within 48 hours, sending out the request for proposal. Compare the offers and select the best one – Cost and Quality. Interpreting contracts, dealing with the legal department representative and cross-functional areas, arranging signatures and ensuring mailing. Managing the recruitment of suppliers. Tracking goods from procurement to receipt. Constant liaison with suppliers and peers. Knowledge of and compliance with the procurement processes defined in the integrated management system. Sending out samples, organizing transport with the help of transport managers where necessary. Requesting and documenting safety data sheets. Continuous monitoring, maintenance and updating of minimum stocks (as part of the job). Handling and processing of Titan and AP. Preparation and recording of reports.
