CANDIDATE PROFILE
This position will be reporting to the Senior Manager of IPS & Procurement and will be taking on special duties as needed in the day-to-day IPS & Procurement area. The ideal candidate will own the entire sample garment manufacturing process ensuring on time sample delivery supporting merchandising & sales requirements. The candidate will support monthly raw material procurement & IPS activities while gaining an understanding of the IPS structure and financial protocols. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator, a collaborative problem-solver, and a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
:
Sample Garment Management:
Own the end-to-end sample garment process from style creation to on-time delivery. Strategize with cross functional teams to ensure operational excellence. Initial responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:
- Initiate sample kick off seasonally to cross functional teams including style master creation & maintenance.
- Own FlexPLM sample management & maintenance.
- Issue sample authorizations and import purchase orders in AS400.
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers for sample requests and fabric swatches.
- Create & approve sample UPC tickets.
- Issue all import purchase orders/sample shipment numbers.
- Create/update & issue seasonal New Line Sample Report.
- Review/approve RM’s for all domestic samples-ensuring color accuracy.
Raw Material Procurement & IPS Support:
Offers support for all raw material IPS operations and procurement functions. Initial responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:
- Assist in monthly raw material procurement and IPS operations.
- Prepare and track buyers’ monthly financials and purchasing reports.
- Maintain the AIR freight tracker and reconcile shipments with traffic and finance teams.
- Manage aging/DMR reports and ensure financial oversight with WDR and finance.
- Update and maintain procurement SOP’s and training documentation.
Finished Good IPS Support:
Offers support for all finished good IPS operations and functions. Initial responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:
- Work to build a strong understanding of the finished good IPS structure and founding principles.
- Create and distribute monthly IPS reports to internal stakeholders.
Factory Compliance, Auditing & Sustainability:
- Monitor and interpret ESG regulations and ensure factory compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of audits, inspections, and compliance activities.
- Support CSR goals and sustainability reporting efforts.
General Procurement & IPS Activities:
- Issue style numbers and FG color codes; update FlexPLM and seasonal color grids.
- Analyze and issue quarterly RFID needs to suppliers.
- Provide backup support to the NJ and WD Purchasing Teams.
- Assist with ad hoc procurement and IPS tasks as needed.
System & Technical Requirements:
- Proficiency in FlexPLM, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Teams.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, concatenations, complex formulas).
- Experience with AS400, JAVA, Access and Smartsheet is a plus.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business finance, inventory management, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in production, procurement, or inventory management.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and factory compliance standards is preferred.

Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$75,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
