Procurement Specialist The Healthcare Construction Group Township of Brick, NJ 08724 Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring that our organization acquires the necessary goods and services at optimal prices while maintaining quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing and supplier management, with experience in procurement management systems such as Oracle EBS or SAP. Responsibilities Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing of goods and services. Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing. Manage supplier relationships to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and performance standards. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide timely solutions. Monitor inventory levels using MRP systems to anticipate purchasing requirements. Prepare and maintain accurate procurement documentation, including purchase orders and contracts. Analyze procurement data to identify trends, savings opportunities, and areas for improvement. Skills Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices. Proficiency in sourcing strategies and supplier management techniques. Experience with procurement management software such as Oracle EBS or SAP. Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable pricing outcomes. Ability to analyze data effectively to inform decision-making processes. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with MRP systems is a plus.
