Job Description
Perform buying duties for restaurant needs. Prepare purchase orders and calculate costs of orders. Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers. Approve and pay bills. Monitor in-house inventory movement and complete inventory transfer forms for bookkeeping purposes. Check shipments when they arrive to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and that goods meet specifications. Contact suppliers to resolve issues. Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports and price lists.
Requirements:
High School Diploma plus 2 years of experience in supplies procurement, inventory control and price negotiations. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
