JOB SUMMARY
Purchasing Coordinator ensures that the company has the materials and services needed to function on a day-to-day basis. The purchasing coordinator negotiates prices, terms, and schedules deliveries based on the company’s production needs. Maintains inventory levels and availability of consumables. Resolves issues related to inventory return, replacement, and credit arrangement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Negotiates best vendor terms, pricing and delivery based on specific budget and schedule requirements. Uses knowledge of equipment and manufacturing processes to schedule deliveries to ensure continual production cycles. Keeps information accessible by sorting and filing documents. Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance with terms of contracts. Review suppliers to ensure quality of consumable supplies Prepare and submit detailed reports (revenues, buying expenditures etc.)
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBITIES
Negotiate and manage Waste Management handling, storage and collection for facility. Work with EHS coordinator to ensure that facility is in compliance with all local, state and federal environmental and safety regulations. Oversee Facility Maintenance Technician and ensure they have the materials needed to maintain the equipment and the facility in working order.
