Buyer Planner Position Available In Erie, New York

Responsible for managing procurement activities, coordinating logistics, and maintaining accurate inventory levels to support operational efficiency. Job Requirements Bachelor�s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field 2�3 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, or inventory management Proficiency in inventory management software and related tools Strong understanding of supply chain principles and practices Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CPSM) preferred Preferred Skills Experience sourcing suppliers and negotiating purchasing terms Familiarity with transportation and warehousing coordination Ability to conduct and reconcile inventory audits Knowledge of applicable regulations and logistics standards

Job Responsibilities Purchasing:

Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company goals Evaluate suppliers, obtain quotes, and negotiate pricing and terms Process and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery Track and document supplier performance and purchasing records Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities

Logistics:

Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities Work with third-party logistics providers to meet delivery timelines Monitor and resolve shipment delays, damage, or discrepancies Maintain logistics records and performance metrics Ensure compliance with logistics regulations and standards

Inventory Management:

Monitor stock levels and maintain required inventory Perform inventory audits and reconcile differences Update inventory systems and ensure data accuracy Collaborate with internal teams for demand forecasting Implement process improvements for inventory optimization

Pay:
