Full Job Description Temporary Purchasing Coordinator Location:
Buffalo, NY (On-site)

Full-Time, Monday-Friday Assignment Length:
3-6 Months (Potential for Extension) Berenson Corporation, a leader in decorative hardware distribution, is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Temporary Purchasing Coordinator to support our Purchasing department during a critical growth period. What You’ll Do:
Research and create purchase orders based on sales trends, inventory usage, and marketing forecasts Analyze inventory levels using Excel and internal systems to support accurate forecasting and reduce stockouts Expedite urgent or delayed product shipments by coordinating with vendors and internal teams Communicate with vendors to confirm purchase details, resolve issues, and track deliveries Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Accounting to maintain inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies Support cost calculations, usage reviews, turnover tracking, and vendor performance monitoring Maintain clean and organized purchasing records and usage data
What We’re Looking For:
, or inventory coordination (distribution or logistics preferred) Strong Excel skills — including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask under deadlines Familiarity with ERP systems (Enspire or similar a plus) Self-motivated, organized, and solution-focused Bonus if
You Have:
Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Customer Service, Accounting) Background in quality control or product tracking Knowledge of cost calculations, turnover metrics, and vendor relations
