SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

AriZona Beverages, a globally recognized brand known for its innovative and vibrant products, is seeking a highly organized and driven Merchandise Procurement Specialist to manage the end-to-end process of sourcing, ordering, and procuring a wide range of merchandise, including clothing, apparel, point-of-sale (POS) materials, signage, accessories, and paper goods. This role plays a critical part in supporting seasonal product rollouts, marketing campaigns, and e-commerce operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively across departments, and ensures all merchandise is ordered, produced, and delivered on schedule and in alignment with creative and seasonal plans.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Coordinate the procurement of merchandise items including apparel, promotional items, signage, POS materials, and packaging. Work closely with the e-commerce team to align orders with seasonal calendars, marketing timelines, and inventory needs. Collaborate with graphic designers and the creative team to ensure artwork, branding, and production specs are accurate and approved prior to placing orders. Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers to request quotes, manage purchase orders, track production, and ensure on-time delivery. Partner with the receiving and inventory teams to ensure products are delivered accurately and meet quality standards. Maintain detailed records of orders, timelines, costs, and vendor performance. Communicate proactively with internal teams regarding project status, delivery updates, and any issues impacting timelines or product quality. Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes, improve vendor relationships, and reduce costs. Familiarity with production timelines, MOQs (minimum order quantities), and quality control processes to ensure products meet standards and deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

, buying, or sourcing—preferably in a consumer goods, promotional products, or apparel setting preferred. High-energy, detail-oriented self-starter with a problem-solving mindset and a strong sense of urgency; thrives under pressure and keeps projects moving on tight timelines. Strong understanding of seasonal product planning and e-commerce timelines. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to coordinate effectively across departments and with external partners. Understanding of international shipping and logistics, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and import documentation (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin). – a plus. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with procurement software, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and order tracking systems. Experience working with creative teams and understanding of basic design file formats and die-lines is a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Woodbury, Long Island, NY office. The role requires regular collaboration across multiple departments and occasional vendor meetings.
