$80,000.00 To $95,000.00 Annually Title Buyer (Footwear & Accessories) Salary Range The anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a bonus program. Location New York, NY Reporting Structure The Buyer (Footwear & Accessories) reports directly to the Director, Buying .

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

The Buyer (Footwear & Accessories) will be responsible for executing all aspects of the buying process for Vince Full Price Retail Stores and Ecommerce. Responsible for executing all aspects of Buying process for Vince Licensee and 3rd Party categories, including Footwear, Handbags, Belts, and Accessories.
Develop strong relationships with Licensee partners and 3rd Party vendors.
Own knowledge of and speaking to business to cross functional partners, inclusive of executive team. Report on category business. Recommend growth opportunities and key item strategies for your areas of ownership. Identify and react to in season business to achieve sales. Own markdown cadence/process. Ownership of pre-market analysis and preparation, in-market analysis and assortment strategy, sizing, and buy upkeep.
Manage vendor onboarding process for new vendors, and style set up process for all vendors each season. Partner closely with Operations team on key deliverables for all vendors.
Place and track all PO’s for upcoming seasons and notify cross functional partners of any product flow changes.
Collect and distribute product feedback to all vendors to identify clear opportunities for future seasons. Partner with Store, Visual, Ecommerce, and Marketing teams on product flip needs, promotional events, store and website display, and valid inventory levels on marketed/key items.
Develop strong relationship with Retail fleet team to understand nuances of store business and react to developing needs.

Solution Oriented Qualifications/Experience We’re Looking For:

4-6 years of multi-vendor retail buying experience. Footwear and Accessories experience is a plus.
Detail oriented and extremely organized with ability to manage multiple vendors at once.
Must have a strong blend of creative, analytical, and operational skills.
Multi-store brand experience with understanding of regional markets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a comfort level with public speaking.
Proficiency in Excel and Retail math. Ability to readily work with data, extract results, and communicate findings.
Exhibits high standards and accountability; takes pride in accuracy.
Result-oriented and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency.
Able to independently organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines. Benefits at
