Job Description

Leroy Street Studio, an award-winning architecture and interior design firm, is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to support our Interiors department. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of FF&E procurement, vendor coordination, and project documentation. The Purchasing Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the Interior Design team and collaborating closely with the Accounting department to ensure seamless purchasing and financial tracking across multiple high-end residential and commercial projects.

Salary range:

60k-67k We offer a full benefits package Key Responsibilities Coordinate all purchasing and invoicing activities in Studio Designer software. Collaborate with the Interior Design team to generate and track FF&E purchase orders and maintain detailed records of product specifications and costs. Monitor and maintain project budgets and timelines across multiple active projects. Generate and process client invoices in coordination with the Accounting team. Communicate directly with vendors to manage order status, shipment logistics, and delivery schedules, including international shipments. Coordinate with movers, installers, and vendors during the final installation phase of projects. Assist with project closeout documentation, including warranty and care instructions, vendor summaries, and invoice reconciliations. Maintain and update vendor and supplier contact lists and order histories. Organize and compile project meeting notes, procurement schedules, and related administrative materials. Provide administrative and logistical support to ensure smooth execution of design projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Interior Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 2+ years of relevant experience in a design firm or high-end design retail environment. Proven ability to manage purchasing processes and implement systems that improve tracking and accuracy. Familiarity with Studio Designer and strong proficiency in Excel and Word. Knowledge of high-end furniture, fabric, and lighting vendors, as well as local workrooms and custom fabricators. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
