Procurement Specialist Position Available In Allegheny, Pennsylvania

Procurement Associate Responsibilities:

Provide purchasing support to all internal departments through the acquisition of approved materials, equipment or services from approved vendors Develop key supplier relationships and partnerships, continually improving supplier service levels and reducing supply chain risk Obtain vendor quotes, proposals, or statements of work as needed for various types of purchases. Prepare purchase orders and work with corporate accounts receivable and accounts payable to execute the orders Follow up with suppliers on overdue purchase orders to minimize delays and risk of supply disruption Identify opportunities for purchasing process improvements Collaborate with the Supply Chain Planner to monitor, track, and provide feedback on purchases, open orders, and order confirmations. Establish and/or maintain data in the ERP system such as material master data, purchasing parameters, and vendor information. Initiate vendor complaints when required using the vendor complaint process.

Procurement Associate Requirements:
