The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely acquisition of materials and services while maintaining quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management, contract negotiation, and materials management to optimize our sourcing strategies and support our operational goals. Responsibilities Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs. Conduct contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions. Manage relationships with vendors to ensure quality management and timely delivery of materials. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify sourcing needs and specifications. Utilize MRP systems to track inventory levels, forecast demand, and manage supply chain operations. Perform root cause analysis on procurement issues to develop effective solutions. Evaluate supplier performance through regular assessments and feedback mechanisms. Stay updated on market trends and industry developments to inform sourcing decisions. Assist in the fabrication process by coordinating with suppliers for necessary materials. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in procurement management or a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment. Strong skills in contract negotiation, materials management, and quality management. Familiarity with MRP systems and supply chain processes is essential. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster vendor relationships. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities.
