POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a knowledgeable and strategic Fuel Procurement Consultant to support our clients in optimizing their fuel purchasing strategies. This role involves analyzing fuel spend, negotiating supply contracts, monitoring market trends, and providing expert guidance to reduce costs and ensure fuel supply continuity. Qualifications
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement fuel procurement strategies tailored to client needs and operations. Analyze fuel usage patterns and recommend optimal sourcing options. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with fuel suppliers and distributors. Monitor fuel market trends, spot pricing, hedging opportunities, and regulatory changes. Provide ongoing consulting and support to ensure cost-effective and compliant fuel management. Prepare reports and presentations on fuel spend analysis and procurement performance. Collaborate with internal and client teams, including finance, logistics, and operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Energy Management, or related field (preferred). 3+ years of experience in fuel procurement, energy consulting, or fleet management. Strong negotiation and analytical skills. Knowledge of fuel pricing mechanisms, supply contracts, and regulatory compliance. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, data analysis tools, and procurement systems. Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
