- What You’ll Be Doing
- + Provide contract and procurement support with a focus on commodity management.
+ Develop, negotiate, and manage supplier agreements to meet operational needs. + Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards. + Lead process improvement initiatives in sourcing, contracting, and category management. + Support supplier performance programs focused on quality, service, and standardization. + Actively engage in procurement processes with a hands-on, collaborative approach. + Align procurement practices with internal customer needs and deliver training as needed. + Apply competitive bidding practices and advise on negotiation strategies. + Contribute to procurement policy development and participate in cross-functional teams.
- What Are We Looking For
- + University or College degree in technical, economic, financial, or business field.
+ Supply Chain Management Professional Accreditation (preferred). + Minimum three (3) years of work experience in procurement and contract management in a manufacturing/production and/or construction environment. + Experience and/or interest in electronic bidding/e-auctions and E-procurement. + Strong negotiation skills. + Excellent oral and written skills and the ability to build relationships and work effectively at all levels of the organization. + Demonstrated ability to manage multiple independent projects as assigned. + Proficient in SAP
- ECC 6.0 MM module (source of supply, purchasing info records, MRP, purchase orders, contracts, etc.), Ariba and MS Office applications.
