Purchasing Agent 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Horsham, PA 19044 Full-time, 7:30AM – 4PM opportunity! Our client, one of Montgomery County’s leading manufacturers of sophisticated aerospace-aviation products, is seeking a Purchasing Agent to join their team! The Purchasing Agent is responsible for procuring materials to support the company’s operations across all departments.
Responsibilities:
Procure all necessary materials to support company-wide operations Ensure timely delivery of all ordered materials Identify and develop relationships with new suppliers for both existing and upcoming products Monitor and adjust inventory levels as needed Collaborate closely with teams in inventory control, engineering, production, quality, and accounts payable Undertake special projects as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED 1 year of purchasing experience Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Access, and Word Strong verbal and written communication skills
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
