Job DescriptionThe selected candidate will manage the Cap Ex spend for projects up to $5M across all our company’s divisions; – Manufacturing division, Global Workspace and Enterprise Services (GWES) and our research laboratories, Global Clinical Development for Southeast and part of Northeast US. This position will be the liaison between the sites and ultimately to the Global Cap Ex team, ensuring the correct sourcing and execution of projects and 100% compliance with processes and policies.

The candidate will be required to provide primary expertise in Capital sourcing (Construction, Engineering, Process/Manufacturing Equipment Categories), stakeholder engagement, management and performance improvement of the capital spend, and ensure complete understanding of our requirements and expectations in strategic sourcing.

The successful implementation of this role requires developing direct relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers, while driving transformational changes and adherence to our procurement policies and processes.

ResponsibilitiesTrain stakeholders on our processes and policies and ensure adherence to these processes.

Collaborate with site teams to understand their Long-range Capital plan, the sites’ needs, and develop the best sourcing approachSupport the building and approval of Project Procurement Plans (PPPs) for each capital project to ensure upfront alignment on the sourcing strategy.

Lead sourcing projects to deliver optimal value to the company (cost, timelines, execution, etc.).Drive economic inclusion through increase in Diverse spend with impact suppliersPerform supplier negotiations to support projects and deliver best value.

Develop, support, and execute a comprehensive regional and local strategy in line with the global strategy, including supplier management, compliance, risk management, diversity spend, and stakeholder management.

Monitor key suppliers through a set of agreed KPIs and perform Quarterly Business Reviews.

Stay at the forefront of sustainability best practices, regulations, and industry trends, ensuring our sustainability approach is cutting-edge and aligned with emerging opportunities.

Provide leadership and consistency with our environmental and sustainability goals.

Clearly articulate to leadership the progress made in your region(s) towards our teams’ goals

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering) required.

Required Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.

Strong understanding of procurement processes and policies.

Experience in complex supplier negotiations.

Proven ability to lead and manage change in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in capital expenditure projects is advantageousStrong organization, communication and presentation skills, ability to effectively communicate complex topics to diverse audiences.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
