About the role As the Procurement Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of the procurement function for the factory. You will support the procurement team through accurate developing evaluation models and tender documents, data management, system updates (primarily Workfront), transactional processing, and reporting. You will provide detail and insight into wider procurement and factory team analysing information, developing and ensuring corrective actions are followed up, assisting in delivering cost savings and tracking, ensures compliance with
ISO 45001
standards, and provides administrative support for the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process. Your additional responsibilities will include PO batching, vendor onboarding, KPI tracking, and serving as liaison for community partnerships and capital project documentation. Responsibilities Create request for quotes/ pricing/ tender and reviews with stakeholders to ensure alignment.
Analyse tender responses and provide insight and recommendations to procurement specialists and stakeholders.
Manage supplier master data, PO delegate lists, and vendor profiles in Workfront.
Negotiate and develop supply agreements with smaller scale suppliers.
Support Integrated Business Planning administration and analysis.
Track and report monthly KPIs and quality performance goals in collaboration with the Senior Procurement Specialist.
Analyse all escapes reported through Key Performance indicators and develop and implement corrective action plans where required.
Create and provide insights into key supplier markets and identify and initiate engagement with suppliers.
Deliver and record cost savings delivered by site and support insight into future opportunities.
Execute inactive supplier requests and onboard new vendors.
Manage and maintain the contract register and ensure SSJ form compliance.
Track and engage with quality/ business development teams to ensure pro
Process invoices, manage orders, and complete daily PO batching.
Expedite Purchase orders and delivery acknowledgements and manage expectations with internal stakeholders.
Supporting with any other duties as assigned by the Procurement Specialist. About you A minimum of 2 years of previous procurement experience is essential
Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
Experience with ERP and workflow tools (e.g., Workfront, JD Edwards)
Solid understanding of procurement processes and documentation
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools, SQL or Power BI
Associates (2-year degree) or comparable work experience. APICs or ASME certifications are preferable
