MAU is hiring a Purchaser for our client in Greenville, SC. As a Purchaser, you will manage daily procurement activities, converting purchase requisitions into purchase orders, and tracking open orders to ensure timely delivery. This is a contract long-term opportunity

Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical, Business, or Supply Chain;
OR
High school diploma/GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing, materials planning, inventory management, or warehouse/distribution centers
4 years of experience in a Buyer, Purchasing, or Scheduler position
General Requirements
Strong organizational skills and goal orientation
Proficiency in modern ERP systems, particularly SAP
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Skilled in resolving changing or conflicting priorities
Strong analytical and systems proficiency
Effective communicator with strong oral and written skills
Ability to work within a matrixed organizational structure
Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities
Comfortable interfacing with all levels of management
Essential Functions
Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders and manage timely release
Collaborate with supply partners and Materials Resource Planner to ensure on-time delivery
Manage supplier relationships, including scheduling changes and cancellations
Maintain accurate data in the ERP system to reflect current supply status
Apply sourcing policies and support strategic sourcing initiatives
Contribute to lead time reduction, New Product Introduction (NPI), and payment term improvements
Support cash flow improvement and supply chain risk mitigation initiatives
Manage projects in a global, matrixed organization
Serve as the primary point of contact for supply partners’ operational needs
