MAU is hiring a Senior Buyer for our client in Liberty, SC. As a Senior Buyer, you will review sales forecasts, product specifications, and production schedules to determine raw material requirements. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Required Experience
4+ or more years of experience in purchasing, preferably within the Food and Beverage industry.
General Requirements
Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP).
Strong communication skills for maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to effectively communicate with superiors, subordinates, and external constituencies.
Sound business judgment, high personal motivation, and strong work ethic.
Ability to remain calm under pressure.
Demonstrated ability to maintain high-quality service levels in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to analyze production processes for efficiency improvements.
Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills.
Ability to develop and implement training materials and standard operating procedures.
Experience in process improvement and production planning.
Understanding of quality control protocols and food safety regulations.
Ability to write and present clearly to transfer knowledge effectively.
Essential Functions
Ensure raw materials are available to meet designated production schedules.
Utilize MRP systems to coordinate materials across purchasing, processing, warehousing, and production.
Maintain accurate documentation of material details, including codes, brands, and supplier contact information.
Update material orders to align with inventory levels and production schedule changes.
Develop key performance indicators for inventory management accuracy and efficiency.
Implement and enforce inventory policies and procedures.
Oversee vendor relations to ensure quality, cost control, and timely deliveries.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels as per company standards.
Analyze and improve production scheduling to optimize labor and minimize downtime.
Lead or participate in process improvement projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency.
