Your Key Responsibilities Coordination and steeringof Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Personal Protective Equipment, &Standard / Catalog Equipment purchases for US & Canada, includingnegotiating the associated purchasing costs. Development andimplementation of a regional purchasing strategy in alignment withthe specialist areas and contact partners. Identification andinitiation of savings projects and workshops between suppliersand/or plant stakeholders to reduce total costs (i.e. specificationadaptions, make-or-buy, cost value analyses). Leading pricing,conditions, and contract negotiations as well as RFQs for relevantsuppliers. Improve company cash-flow through extension of paymentterms with suppliers. Establish & manage preferred suppliers, whileleveraging company’s total volume. Risk management and taskforce/troubleshooting with regards to quality/delivery issues forall relevant suppliers assigned.

Your Qualifications Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain,Purchasing, Engineering or related field 3 to 5 years of relevantexperience Experience in purchasing and negotiations Able to managecomplex projects while meeting due dates & targets Demonstratedleadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivatecross-functional teams to achieve results. Experience of working ina high-paced automotive manufacturing environment Analyticalmindset with the ability to analyze complex problems, identify rootcauses, and develop data-driven solutions.
