The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process, ensuring that our organization acquires the necessary materials and services efficiently and cost-effectively. This position requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of supply chain processes, and the ability to foster relationships with suppliers. Responsibilities Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals. Manage contract negotiations and ensure compliance with terms and conditions. Conduct sourcing activities to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities. Oversee category management to optimize purchasing decisions across various product lines. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide tailored solutions. Analyze market trends and pricing data to make informed purchasing decisions. Utilize Oracle EBS for procurement processes, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting. Maintain supplier management practices to build strong relationships and ensure quality service delivery. Conduct root cause analysis for any procurement-related issues, implementing corrective actions as needed. Experience Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management is essential. Strong knowledge of contract management principles and practices. Familiarity with sourcing techniques and category management strategies. Experience with supplier management, including performance evaluation and relationship building. Proficiency in using Oracle EBS or similar procurement software is preferred. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data related to pricing and market trends. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. A proactive approach to problem-solving, particularly in identifying issues related to supply chain processes.
