We are looking to expand our team with a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to help manage our procurement processes and keep our projects running smoothly.

Job Overview:

As a Purchasing Agent , you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing HVAC materials and equipment required for our construction projects. This key role ensures that the right products are available at the right time and within budget. You will work closely with project managers, vendors, and suppliers to support the efficient execution of HVAC installations and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Procure HVAC Materials :

Source and purchase HVAC units, components, and tools necessary for construction projects (e.g., compressors, piping, ducts, thermostats, insulation, etc.).

Vendor Management :

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.

Cost Control :

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining high-quality standards.

Project Coordination :

Collaborate with project managers to understand material requirements, project timelines, and specific HVAC needs.

Inventory Management :

Track inventory levels, manage stock orders, and ensure the timely delivery of materials to avoid project delays.

Quality Assurance :

Ensure all materials purchased meet company standards, building codes, and safety regulations.

Order Management :

Create and manage purchase orders, track shipments, resolve discrepancies, and ensure the accuracy of orders.

Problem Solving :

Handle issues such as incorrect orders, damaged goods, or delayed shipments promptly to minimize disruptions in the project timeline.

Qualifications:

Experience :

Minimum of 2 years in purchasing, procurement, or a similar role within the construction or HVAC industry.

Knowledge :

Understanding of HVAC materials, tools, and equipment is a bonus

Skills :

Excellent negotiation, organizational, and communication skills. Attention to

Detail :

Ability to track orders and manage complex purchasing processes with accuracy.

Tech Savvy :

Experience with procurement software, inventory management systems, and basic office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel).

Certifications :
