Purchasing Agent Position Available In Davidson, Tennessee

Job Description A Healthcare company in the Nashville, TN area is looking for a local Purchasing Agent to join their Corporate IT Department onsite 5 days a week. This Purchasing Agent will be responsible for managing purchase requisitions and orders, working heavily with various departments and vendors, and ensuring compliance with purchasing and tax policies. See below a further breakdown of day-to-day tasks: Create purchase requisitions based on information entered into the Request Intake tool by the requesting party o Entering all purchase requisition orders related to assigned service lines into the FSM ERP and issue Purchase Orders (PO) to relevant parties o Ensuring compliance of purchase requisitions to corporate purchasing and tax policies Perform accounts payable (AP) and purchase order (PO) tasks as assigned by the team lead or manager Cross-reference all purchase information into a secondary procurement database for tracking purposes Collaborate with customers requesting goods and services, the Contracting Department, Financial Analysts, Tax leadership, Corporate Purchasing, Corporate Accounts Payable, and vendors to provide support and answer questions regarding purchase requisitions and orders o Interact with vendors regarding master quotes, invoices, price changes, and other related matters Work with team members to identify, assess, propose, and implement process improvement initiatives We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
