Job Description

Production Control Analyst Beehive Industries Knoxville, TN 37932 Beehive Industries is dedicated to Powering American Defense by revolutionizing the design, development, and delivery of jet propulsion systems to support the warfighter. Through the integration of additive manufacturing, the company aims to meet the growing and urgent needs for unmanned aerial defense by dramatically improving a jet engine’s speed to market, fuel efficiency, and cost. Founded in 2020, the company is headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, with additional facilities in Knoxville, Tennessee, Loveland Ohio, and Mount Vernon, Ohio. Beehive is committed to grow and advance the defense industrial base while manufacturing exclusively in the USA. This role will be located at our Knoxville, Tennessee facility.

Role Overview:

Beehive Industries is looking for an energetic and driven Production Control Analyst to execute, build, and scale our Procure-to-Pay processes. This role will partner with various cross-functional leadership daily facilitating purchase orders, supplier selection, terms negotiations, and process controls.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and issue Purchase Orders to suppliers upon Manager approval and in alignment with Procure-to-Pay policy and procedure. Issue requests to suppliers for quotes, pricing, and terms for direct and indirect purchases; help negotiate scope and lead times. Work alongside Quality and cross-functional leads to support in supplier selection and onboarding. Support in monthly reporting of key Procure-to-Pay process indicators; track supplier PO progress and status, report on turnaround time, cost, quality, and service. Identify and drive issue resolution throughout end-to-end procurement process (e.g., PO generation, master data maintenance, supplier lead times, goods receipt). Work with AR / AP Analyst to provide required supplier information to Finance to ensure timely billing setup and payment. Expediting parts at sub suppliers required to support Customer need dates Own and maintain critical master data – including Supplier Master data and supporting documentation, as well as the Item Master for direct, indirect, and capex purchasing. Work with Finance, Quality, and cross-functional leads to help scale and improve Procure-to-Pay processes. Support the continued design and testing of NetSuite (ERP) implementation as it related to a robust Procurement process. Use critical thinking and judgment to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day to-day issue resolution.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration, finance, engineering, or supply chain management. At least 2 – 3 years relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, buying, and / or inventory planning. Excellent MS Office skills – especially Excel, Word, and PPT. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude. Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics. Strong negotiation skills + ability to cultivate strong supplier relationships.

Leadership ability:

strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative. Quick learner and can strategically prioritize work. Experience working in defense procurement operating structure preferred. Technical aptitude and business acumen.
