W2 Contract•No vendors, No Sponsorship Strategic Sourcing Specialist Job Summary We’re seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our Technology Procurement Team for a 6-month contract. In this role, you’ll manage the full vendor lifecycle, from initial engagement and sourcing to contract negotiation and performance tracking. You’ll work cross-functionally with technology and business stakeholders to ensure procurement needs are met efficiently and cost-effectively. Your expertise will support strategic initiatives and help the organization reduce risk while maintaining strong vendor partnerships. Strategic Sourcing Specialist Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end vendor relationships, including sourcing, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring Collaborate with business and tech teams to define sourcing needs for new initiatives Lead RFx processes: organize documentation, facilitate demos, gather requirements, and track progress Review and negotiate vendor agreements (NDAs, MSAs, EULAs) with legal and sourcing leadership as needed Create and manage purchase orders (POs), ensuring accuracy in pricing and coding Track vendor performance, contractual compliance, and support cost optimization initiatives Support continuous process improvement and procurement policy compliance Strategic Sourcing Specialist Must-Have Skills 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or vendor management Strong knowledge of sourcing processes, including RFx, contract negotiation, and PO management Experience working with technology vendors and understanding of tech procurement processes Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, vendor portals) Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving Strong negotiation skills and business acumen Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Adaptable and responsive to changing business needs
