POSITION SUMMARY
Track, determine disposition of and report component and wire harness obsolescence and premium freight costs, rework costs, and third-party charges assigned to the business unit.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Extraordinary Expense Recovery Tracking Maintain tracking logs with new, pending and closed claim information Lead investigation and resolution of claim disposition, including root cause identification and corrective action implementation Assemble cost packages for claim disposition to affiliates, other BUs, customers and suppliers Submit approved cost packages to YNA Finance or BU Sales for collections Lead, or participate in, cross-functional extraordinary expense recovery meetings to discuss and resolve open claims as required Metric Reporting and Process Improvement Compile and distribute extraordinary expense reports on schedule Maintain, generate and distribute metrics for reporting of all carline extraordinary expense and recovery issues according to the Metric Tracking System Participate in projects to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the extraordinary expense and recovery processes and tools Maintain an organized filing system for open/pending/closed extraordinary expense claims Unique to Sr. Specialist Mentor and train specialists as needed Review existing extraordinary expense processes and tools, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions and “best practices” Coordinate with other functions such as Program Management, Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing and IT in order to improve processes including recommendations for system/tool updates and changes to business operating procedures
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Degree Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management or other related field; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
