Job Description:
- Coordinate purchasing and supply chain activities for manufacturing of power transformers.
- Prepare purchasing orders and analyze bidding requirements for purchasing of necessary materials in manufacturing.
- Research and evaluate suppliers considering factors such as price, quality, service, availability, reliability and other track records.
- Maintain accuracy of purchasing documents and maintain regular follow up with all suppliers and customers.
- Analyze purchasing materials requirements to maintain records of purchased items, costs, product performance.
- Confer with different departments to discuss defects of purchased materials, goods, or services and prepare corrective action.
- Evaluate purchasing and supply chain process and determine the most effective procurement process to maintain certain levels of inventory for manufacturing process.
- Compile purchasing records, sales performance, and inventory levels to assist in development of strategic purchasing programs for overall business operations.
- Keep track of market conditions and any changes affecting supply and demand levels to ensure seamless purchasing activities for manufacturing operations.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Supply Chain Management or related field of study and 2 years of experience in manufacturing industry.
