Creates and releases work orders/production schedules for Manufacturing and purchase orders for Suppliers as required to meet inventory goals and ensure on-time delivery to customers. Monitors/reports on Manufacturing attainment to the production schedule and expedites as required — communicates on-time delivery issues to Sales as issues arise. Coordinates with purchasing, production, engineering, quality and sales to achieve customer required delivery dates Manages change activity at the work order level and works with manufacturing to ensure timely and accurate material management/reporting practices and procedures Assess the impact of engineering change orders and executes changes as required. Assists with special projects (i.e. new product/customer ramp-up plans). This job description reflects the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this position. QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university or an equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience. Working knowledge of MRP, inventory management and bills of material (experience with Syteline ERP system a plus, but not required). Experience with visual/automated pull systems (i.e. KANBAN), vendor managed inventory programs and consignment inventory programs highly desired. Proficient with MS Office applications – advanced knowledge of Excel required, Access experience desired, but not required. Organized and able to manage multiple changing priorities while meeting deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interface effectively with personnel at all levels. Excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrated analytical ability. Detail oriented, self-motivated, and excellent organizational skills. Must be able to work well under pressure.

$60,000.00 – $74,600.00 per year
