Aviation Military Analyst- Cargo Helicopter SME

Overview:

JHNA is seeking a talented Senior Aviation Military Analyst to support our government customer within the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE) at Fort Novosel, AL. This work will provide the Aviation Capability Development and Integration Directorate (A-CDID) support for Army Capability Managers (ACMs), Reconnaissance and Attack (R/A), UAS, and Concepts Experimentation and Analysis Directorate (CEAD) Experimentation and Modernization activities.

Roles/Responsibilities:

Conduct tactical employment analysis for Army cargo aircraft.
Lead JCIDS document development (JROC-approved).
Participate in Army Aviation Operations CBAs.
Identify integration/fielding issues and communicate solutions
Conduct S&T assessments for cargo capabilities
Support testing, evaluation, and upgrades of cargo platforms
Integrate cargo capabilities across modernization efforts
Conduct flight performance data collection and brief findings
Produce white papers, concept papers, requirements documents, operational views.
Deliverables must be: Written at the graduate level, Independently developed

Required Qualifications:

An active DoD Secret Clearance is required
12+ years aviation flight/combat cargo operations experience.
Experience as IP or Flight Engineer in Army cargo helicopter formations.
Experience with current Army tactical cargo aircraft.
Completion of staff and leader development courses (e.g., SLC, MLC, CGSC/ILE, Warrant Officer Senior Staff Course).
Senior or Master rated Army Aviator or Aircrew badge.
3+ years in combat/capabilities development.
Experience in:
Flight standardization (units of 35-600 personnel)
Joint Working Groups
Leading aviation studies
Developing/evaluating aviation technologies
