You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction. Drywall building materials may include but are not limited to the following : drywall, metal framing studs, acoustical ceiling tiles & grid, insulation, wood framing studs, and plywood. Responsibilities Deliver construction materials to different addresses/job sites Loading/unloading box trucks Ability to safely operate 14′-26′ Box Truck Follow routes and time schedules Heavy Lifting – weight 50 lbs. & more Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle Must be available to work over-time when needed Stocking material onto the job site Complete logs and reports Follow DOT regulations and safety standards Skills Proven work experience as a Delivery Driver (Building materials preferred) Valid Florida Driver License Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks Excellent organizational and time management skills Excellent customer communication skills both written and verbal Good driving record with no traffic violations Positive attitude, punctual, dependable Basic computer knowledge, including but not limited to Outlook and data retrieval is a plus Lotspeich Co. of Florida, Inc. is an EEO Employer, participates in E-Verify (legal documentation to work in the United States is required), and a Drug Free Workplace.
