We manage complex logistics operations that support our commitment to delivering high-quality outdoor environments for schools, parks, and communities across the country. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Logistics Coordinator to manage and broker all freight for our company’s shipping needs. This role requires a strong background in Less Than Truckload (LTL) and Full Truckload (FTL) freight logistics, and the ability to effectively work with freight load boards and broker platforms. Key Responsibilities Coordinate all freight shipments, including LTL and FTL, across multiple projects and delivery sites. Broker loads and negotiate with carriers to secure the most cost-effective and reliable transportation options. Utilize freight management platforms such as DAT , Truckstop.com , and Load Board services to source carriers and post loads. Create, process, and maintain Bills of Lading (BOLs) and related shipping documentation. Track and monitor shipments, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries. Resolve transportation issues, including delays, accessorial charges, and damages. Maintain up-to-date records of freight quotes, carrier performance, and shipping history. Communicate and collaborate with project managers, warehouse teams, and external partners to ensure seamless delivery coordination. Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation coordination, or freight brokering. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with LTL and FTL freight management . Proficiency in using freight broker tools such as DAT , Load Board , and other digital freight platforms. Strong understanding of BOL processes and shipping compliance documentation. Excellent negotiation, communication, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments and deadlines concurrently. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in logistics related to commercial construction or equipment delivery. Familiarity with project-based shipping coordination. Working knowledge of CRM or TMS (Transportation Management Systems).
