AIR EXPORT FREIGHT

FORWARDING or logistics, with a strong understanding of export procedures, documentation, and regulations. 3. Proficiency in using freight forwarding software and Microsoft Office applications. 4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and team members. 5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively. 6. Problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset to identify and address challenges in the export process. 7. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism. 8. Knowledge of INCO terms, international trade compliance, and customs regulations preferred. 9. Certification in air freight forwarding or related areas (e.g., IATA certification) is a plus. 10. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends to accommodate shipment schedules and client needs. Responsibilities of position 1. Coordinate air export shipments from origin to destination, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and documentation requirements. 2. Communicate with clients to gather shipment details, provide updates, and address any concerns or questions. 3. Arrange bookings with airlines and negotiate rates to optimize cost-effectiveness while meeting client requirements. 4. Prepare and process shipping documentation, including air waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin. 5. Liaise with customs brokers to ensure accurate and timely clearance of goods through customs procedures. 6. Monitor shipment status and proactively address any issues or delays to minimize disruptions in the supply chain. 7. Coordinate with internal teams, such as operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of export shipments. 8. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships with clients and partners. 9. Stay updated on changes in export regulations, trade compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
