The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the importation of goods via air/ocean freight, ensuring compliance with all regulations and facilitating efficient transportation processes. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while coordinating with various stakeholders, including suppliers, customs officials, and internal teams. Duties Coordinate air and ocean import shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with all regulations. Prepare and process necessary documentation for customs clearance and transportation. Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and customs brokers to resolve any issues that may arise during the import process. Utilize CargoWise systems and tracking shipments. Maintain accurate status of shipments, including ATD, ATA and deliveries Collaborate with distribution center staff to ensure efficient handling of incoming goods. Requirements 3 years experience in air/ocean import forwarding or logistics is preferred. Proficiency in using Cargowise systems software is a plus. High School Diploma or GED Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple shipments simultaneously. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
