Job Description

Documentation Coordinator – Freight Forwarding NVOCC Tree Logistics LLC Miami, FL 33172 Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Documentation Coordinator to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, processing, and managing shipping documentation for ocean and air freight movements. The role requires in-depth knowledge of logistics procedures, compliance regulations, and document accuracy. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process Bills of Lading (House and Master), arrival notices, and delivery orders.
  • Coordinate with overseas agents, carriers, and clients to ensure timely documentation flow.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs, FMC, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Manage AMS/ISF filings, export declarations (AES), and other documentation processes. Car validations.
  • Track shipments and ensure clients receive timely updates and documents.
  • Maintain accurate records of all documentation and correspondence.
  • Resolve documentation discrepancies and communicate with relevant parties.
  • Support the operations and customer service teams as needed. Requirements
  • Prior experience (2+ years) in documentation within a freight forwarding or NVOCC environment.
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping practices and documentation requirements.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of INCOTERMS, Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS), and FMC regulations.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
