Your day to day will consist of: Coordinate and manage freight shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely delivery. Liaise with clients, carriers, and customs officials to facilitate smooth operations. Maintain accurate records in the general ledger and ensure compliance with customs regulations. Monitor and assess hazardous situations, implementing safety protocols as necessary. Work collaboratively with team members to optimize shipping processes and improve service delivery. Operate effectively under pressure during peak shipping times while maintaining strong communication. Contribute to the efficiency and reliability of freight services, enhancing customer satisfaction and business growth.

Your background matches the role:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus. Strong understanding of customs brokerage and regulations. Experience with air freight operations. Proficiency in a foreign language is a plus. You possess a successful track record as: A professional with proven experience in freight transportation or logistics.

Skills:

Proficient in general ledger management for accurate financial tracking. Knowledgeable in customs brokerage and international shipping compliance. Skilled at working under pressure and meeting deadlines during high-volume periods. Strong verbal and written communication skills for dealing with diverse stakeholders.
