Ocean Import Coordinator 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Charlotte, NC 28273 Ocean Import Coordinator Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Ocean Import Coordinator for a company based in Charlotte, NC. This role involves working with customer service for incoming ocean import shipments, scheduling deliveries and arrival notices as well as billing. The ideal candidate will be customer support driven, have keen attention to detail and ability to accurately maintain records. Pay Rate $20.00 – $22.00 per hour based on experience Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday, 8:30am -5:30pm Ocean Import Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with their ocean import shipments from arrival to final delivery. Schedule and coordinate deliveries with truckers, warehouses, and customers. Prepare and send timely Arrival Notices to customers and relevant parties. Generate accurate billing and invoices based on shipment details and services provided, Communicate with ocean carriers, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth import process. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all import regulations. Ocean Import Coordinator Qualifications and Requirements Prior experience in ocean import operations or a related logistics role. Strong customer service and communication skills. Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines efficiently. Experience with freight forwarding software or TMS preferred.
