Job Description
TEKsystems is partnering with a transportation and logistics company in Burlington County, NJ to hire a Freight Operations Representative to join their growing team. This position will serve as an expert in coordinating freight loads with customers and ensuring logistical services. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with room for advancement long-term.
Description:
Identify transportation balance needs in order to keep fleets moving profitably. Manage multiple customer shipments simultaneously. Utilize online load boards to acquire head hauls and back hauls at good rates. Schedule all aspects of pick up/delivery with shipper, consignee and carrier. Effectively track shipment status through various methods Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and profitability.
Qualifications:
2+ years experience in customer service/administration Bachelors degree preferred but not required Microsoft skills Logistics experience preferred but not required
