Position Summary :

The Air Import Supervisor is responsible for ensuring efficiency of the Air Import operation, while directly overseeing 2-3 employees in the department. The ideal candidate will assist with billing, closing files, and leading the Air Import team while reporting directly to the air

Import Gateway Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Directly Lead / Supervise 2-3 Team members Monitoring shipments on a daily basis, based on origin reports and internal reports; Help to coordinate with the Back office ondaily operations Manage the Destination costs by negotiating the achieved costs – Cost Management Managing the daily operations to achieve customer SLAs; Monitoring ATAs /ATDs and reporting any discrepancies and delays to Gateway Manager/KAM team/Sales team; Working hand in hand within the Customer Service team & Break Bulk teams for a smooth operations. Assist in Timely billing with Overseas team Assist in closing files for the Dept and managing the PNL Guiding, Leading & Supervising divisions within AI team and reporting to AI-Gateway Manager Participate in 7 days operations including weekend operations when necessary (weekends if needed remotely) Building Relationships with the airlines and trucking partners. Creating processes and implementation of same Management of reports and analytical data for the team for continuous improvement; Any other tasks assigned by the Gateway Manager –

AIR IMPORTS Education and Experience:

High School Diploma 2+ years of freight forwarding supervision experience (air import preferred) Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially with Excel Extremely detail oriented and well organized Great customer service skills Ability to work in a busy and fast paced environment; able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously

$75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
