The Freight Sales position is a traditional freight brokeragerole where in-depth knowledge of the freight business including allfreight modes (Truckload (TL), Less than Truckload (LTL), Rail,Intermodal, etc.) is critical. The Account Executive exercisesindependent judgment and discretion in the full brokerage cycle:negotiation of freight coverage, customer and carrier relationshipmanagement, price negotiation, and analysis of market trends. Inthis role, an individual will be responsible for ensuring allaspects of the Company’s freight processes are operating at maximumpotential, that full truckload shipments are being covered forcustomers and that LTL shipments are effectively managed. This roleis responsible for managing and developing customer and carrierrelationships, service and product planning, implementation, anddelivery, and will regularly function in truckload coverage,account management (for all modes), price negotiation,troubleshooting, and dispatch capacities. By providing a superiorexperience for customers, the Account Executive drives growth bymanaging the customer relationship to continually maximize thebenefits of all freight brokerage transactions to customers and theCompany.
