Freight Support Specialist Job Description We are seeking a motivated Freight Support Specialist to manage and fulfill complex paperwork requests, ensuring smooth operations across our Wholesale, Retail, and Freight Only business sectors. The role involves utilizing technology and resources effectively to drive data entry compliance and provide application support to drivers and third-party carriers. Responsibilities Manage and fulfill complex requests for paperwork such as Bills of Ladings and Delivery Tickets for internal departments. Ensure drivers and third-party carriers complete delivery confirmation entries accurately and timely. Drive data entry compliance by communicating with drivers and third-party carriers via phone, text, or email. Provide application support and troubleshoot issues, escalating IT problems to appropriate parties. Support and contribute to application releases, improvements, and initiatives. Identify trends in entry errors and paperwork requests, providing coaching and initiating related reporting processes. Provide reporting on driver and third-party carrier performance and entry accuracy. Review entries to ensure accuracy and completeness in processes. Assist in ad-hoc order entry into applications and dispatch systems. Participate in stretch assignments as needed. Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose, ensuring high-level support for guests and team members. Ensure compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Complete other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Customer service experience Logistics and transportation knowledge Proficiency in freight bills and data entry Administrative support skills Advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically in Teams and Excel Aptitude for understanding and solving complex problems Knowledge of the fuel and trucking industry Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain preferred Minimum two years’ experience in customer service or logistics Familiarity with Bills of Ladings and standard logistics procedures Work Environment The position is based onsite in an office setting, providing a dynamic and collaborative environment where technology and teamwork are integral to daily operations.
